Mission

The IRC’s key objective is uniting the broadcasters’ efforts in order to further develop the domestic radio industry and enhance its influence in the media space. Part of the IRC’s mission is protecting the broadcasters’ interests at all the levels.

The IRC is a really efficient tool for shaping a consolidated position on the issues affecting all the industry participants. The practice demonstrates the IRC’s efficiency in developing constructive and civilized relations among broadcasters, which remain rivals struggling for the market share and audiences yet jointly resolve issues related to copyright and associated rights in radio broadcasting and maintain a common dialogue with the authorities regulating media activities.

The IRC will be actively involved in the process of developing solutions influencing the radio industry interests and, ultimately, radio listeners as the consumers, thus contributing to formulating transparent, logical, and universal rules of the game for the broadcasting market.
